How many times have I read this passage? How many times have I thought to myself, “Peter was such a wimp…I wouldn’t have denied Jesus…?” Well, the comment at the end of this passage speaks volumes, ...“and they all said the same..”
As much as I would like to think that I would be the strong, brave defender of Jesus, this verse seems to indicate that the disciples ALL felt this way, and yet Jesus was denied, betrayed and forsaken by His disciples, and that would include ME!
