Knowing God through His Word … Day by Day

Another great missions text in Revelation is found in chapter 15, verses 3-4:

“Great and amazing are your deeds,
O Lord God the Almighty!
Just and true are your ways,
O King of the nations!
4 Who will not fear, O Lord,
and glorify your name?
For you alone are holy.
All nations will come
and worship you,
for your righteous acts have been revealed.”

As we read through Revelation, let us remember that more than prophecy, more than end times, more than signs and all the confusion that accompanies them, the book is about Jesus.  It is meant to encourage us that He is the victorious One.  And one day, ALL nations will bow before the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Matthew 24:14 says, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”
